What Is Your Skin Telling You?

Got spots and blaming it on hormones? Red marks and calling it heat rash? Well yes that may be the case however a large percentage of the world are living with allergies and they don't even know it!

Today's post is to bring awareness to allergies and maybe convince you to have a check up and see how your body is functioning. We can develop allergies at any point in our lives, it isn't just something you are born with. You may think 'oh I will just deal with it' if you have some spots or rashes however you need to think how is it effecting you internally? You can not physically see the damage. Untreated allergies can lead to worse situations but that will  not happen if you have it checked out!

I have some allergies which I have only become aware of in the last year. The year before I found out my allergies I was dealing with itchy legs occasionally, skin problems, and over all discomfort. Now knowing my allergies my body has completely switched and I do not have any of the symptoms I used to have. The most important thing I want to share is when I was suffering with reactions I noticed some discolouration on my lower back when I was exposed to the sun. I blamed it on sun burn and I thought it was sun damage! I was so wrong! It was linked to my wheat allergy and now that I have cut wheat out of my diet the discolouration is gone!! Completely! It amazed me and it proves when you have a problem it is your body telling you something is wrong!

I used York Test Laboratories and my GP to figure out my allergies, however I highly recommend York Test. They were spot on and you get your results quickly compared to waiting with a doctor! Sorry it had to be said! Also this is not sponsored!

I don't want this post to scare you! I just want to raise more awareness that you should listen to your body and pay attention to it! If you do so life is far more comfortable!!

Have a great day!
